Data’s for the Dogs

A course on how to measure behavior, analyze data, and make data-informed decisions in training.

What: Weekly interactive group workshops. Participants will identify behaviors specific to their dogs or clients. Participants will collect data on actual target behaviors over the course of this program.

When: Fall cohort TBD

Where: Live via zoom

Objectives: After taking this course and/or during this course, participants will: 

  • Define a behavior in a measurable way

  • Identify why the behavior is important to measure

  • Name two appropriate measures for a specific behavior

  • Design at least one way to collect data on the target behavior

  • Collect data on a behavior

  • Depict data in a visual format

  • List potential questions to explore based on data collected

Continuing Education: 10.5 Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) CEUs are available for this course should the participant attend all 5 sessions in their entirety.
